Groupon has taken the Internet world by storm since its launch in 2008, it is just a platform for collective action. It is made for people to enjoy the great things in their community. The concept is very simple, each day all the subscribers are emailed a single fantastic deal. It could be deep discounts on food, entertainment, places to stay or things to buy. . Since Groupon launched, it has been featured on just about every major media channel in the Western world, and has caught the attention of Entrepreneurs around the world who are looking to create a Groupon clone with their own unique spin or twist.

There are four modes of users viz. The general user(Visitor), The registered user, The Businesses, and the administrator.

Visitor will be prompted to provide his/her email address and preferred city (from drop down list) in order to browse the website, he can switch between the city deal pages, can see the today's deal as well as side deal for that city, can send subscription request (daily notification about new deals) to administrator for that city, can see recent deals over website which were closed successfully before, share this deal with friends/families on social site's. He can see the discussion forum on different titles with different categories (All, Deal Talk, Technical Issue, Global), can send the request/question to administrator through a user interactive contact us form.

The Registered users have their own account panel from where they will be able to edit their profile details, can buy coupon, can view his/her credit, can view/manage (Available, Used, Expired, All) his/her purchased coupons, can earn through the client referral system users get $10 and send as many referral to others as he/she want, can participate in discussion over available forum , can buy the main deal as well as the side deal before it expires/cancel, can pay via his/her account credit or via selecting his/her saved credit card details from his/her profile or he/she will be able to fill the new details of Credit Card details with billing address, a mail is sent to user containing printable coupon with details (Redemption Instructions) and a link to print coupon over website, can purchase as many gift coupons for others as he/she want by selecting the gift option at the time of payment . If the deal goes through, the other person will receive the coupon in his/her e-mail account with a custom message of the user.

Current price of the coupon will goes down as the number of buyers/users increases. At the end of deal, all buyers/users get deducted same amount from their respective credit card if minimum number of buyers reached otherwise coupon will be canceled and a mail will be sent to buyers/users regarding the deal was cancelled. If maximum number of buyers/users reaches for that coupon deal then the coupon will be closed for the day and buy option will be disabled for any more purchasing. Last coupon price will be deducted from all buyer's/user's credit card.

Businesses will be able to register themselves over website and will be able to print the list of tracking Ids for specific deal for the purpose of preventing abuse/duplicacy. They can get their monthly report over their account also. The Administrator can manage the whole functionality by a secure login process.
